Our goal is to help
The goal of the Clatsop County District Attorney’s Office Victim Services Unit is to provide up-to-date information and support to victims of criminal actions. It is our desire to see that the criminal justice system does not cause a “second injury” to the victim.
The Victim Services Unit provides ongoing case status, connecting victims with community resources, and assisting with restitution and crime victims compensation claims funded through the Oregon Department of Justice, as well as providing victim impact statements, and advocacy at court appearances. If our office cannot meet your specific needs, we will assist you in finding the appropriate social service agency.
